Jurong Country Club
October 12, 2008
Jurong Country Club is located within Singapore’s industrial hub – attracting professionals and executives from all over Singapore to unwind with a little bit of golf.
This par 72, 18 holes Zoysia-grass golf course is well lit in the night, offering after working hours of leisure. Together with the dining outlets and banquet facilities made available at the clubhouse, Jurong Country Club caters to various business and social needs.
The Club says:
The course plays to a par 72 and is split into two distinct halves, with the clubhouse sitting snugly in the middle. The front nine, designed by British architect Frank Pennick, sprawls over heavily wooded hills and valleys with one major water hazard. The back nine, by contrast, is a green-carpeted plain. You can swing into widened fairways moulded with Zoysia grass running into the Jurong Lake that provides a velvet-smooth playing surface, and the incomparable Bermuda grass on the greens.
And now, you can indulge in your favourite rounds of golf even after dark. That’s because the course offers you 18 holes of Singapore’s best night golfing facilities. The $3 million floodlight system with 720 lights strategically deployed throughout the entire course renders a natural carpet of light. You can partake in one of life’s finest indulgences in cool, tropical evenings!
